Bugs and Friends

~*Bugs*~

i have friends
who look like bugs
with glasses that stick out

their ears are big,
their hair stands up,
their faces form a pout

without fear
they slither through my yard
and ring my bell
and ask if i can play

“i’m leaving mom”
i scream as i go
“off to play with the bug people”
